Washington Capitals newborn session 

This adorable little guy is ready to hit the ice to follow in his daddy’s footsteps as a professional hockey player!  He is clearly already rockin’ the red, and looks just darling in a tiny hockey uniform.  (Look how little he looks in comparison to his dad’s hockey gloves!)

As a hockey mom myself (and a Caps fan, of course!), it was so much fun to create a Capitals-themed photo session for this sweetheart!  I love the opportunity to be creative, and also to incorporate personal items into newborn sessions to make them even more special.
It was such a treat to capture these images for this cutie’s mom and dad, and I couldn’t be happier for their family!

    Maternity portrait sessions are so fun because they are filled with excitement, joy, and anticipation. There is something really special about photographing a glowing mom-to-be, regardless of whether she is awaiting her first or fifth baby.

    I also know how busy (and often exhausting) that time before baby’s arrival can be, so I try to make maternity portraits as easy and stress-free as possible. With my client closet of beautiful dresses and professional hair and makeup artistry to make you look and feel your best, all you need to do is show up for your session; I will take care of everything else!
