Hello there!
I'm Tina - a professional newborn and baby photographer in the Washington, D.C. metro area. I am also a mom to two amazing kids, wife to my college sweetheart, a dog mom, a coffee addict, a cold-weather devotee, and a Springsteen superfan.
I am originally from Pennsylvania, but I have lived in the D.C. area -- in D.C. itself, in the Virginia suburbs, and in the Maryland suburbs -- for more than 20 years now! I fell in love with this area when I moved here to attend law school, and I just never left. (I worked as an attorney practicing labor and employment law for more than a decade prior to launching my photography career.)
I have loved photography for as long as I can remember. As my family and friends can attest, I have nearly always had a camera in my hand and have been obsessed with documenting memories. My passion for photography intensified, however, when my children were born. I was so in awe of their chubby little hands and feet, their adorable expressions, and their love for each other; I wanted to document every detail, and every moment -- to freeze the time that seemed to be speeding by in a blur.
Several years - and countless books, classes, workshops, and practice hours -- later, I decided that I wanted to help other parents preserve their memories of their little ones' first weeks/months. I have now photographed hundreds of babies in the last ten years since I opened my studio, and I am so grateful to all of the families who have allowed me to share in their joy-filled milestones!

I’m on my second latte as I am busily working away on editing a gallery. Speaking of, I know I have been quiet on here lately, but I have been so busy with client sessions, editing, and planning for some exciting events and changes coming soon! Can’t wait to share with you all!

First birthdays are one of my favorite milestones to document! Babies are so expressive at this age, and love to show off their new standing/walking and super-fast crawling skills. Simply adorable!

It was such a treat to see this little sweetheart again for her one-year portraits and birthday donut smash! (Swipe to see a portrait from her newborn session - so hard to believe how quickly a year has flown by!)
She was absolutely adorable and totally understood the assignment - I think she had at least a bite from each donut! 😀💕
