I miss photography. I reeeeeeeaally miss it. (In the event that you are wondering, “Why hasn’t Tina been doing any photography??” stayed tuned for an upcoming blog post on that subject. :)) I miss it so much that even my children, who suffer from “photographer’s child syndrome” — characterized by a reluctance or refusal to even look in the direction of a camera, much less smile or agree to wear clothing that their mother selected– have noticed my angst and taken pity on me. Imagine my surprise (and elation!) when I asked my oldest if she wanted to go outside for a few minutes to take some photos one day this week when I was feeling reasonably well, and she responded with an enthusiastic “yes!”
Although we literally had a 5-minute photo session — due to both my limitations and the plethora of mosquitoes that descended upon us (holy mosquitoes in the mid-Atlantic area this year, am I right?!) — it felt wonderful to be outside with my big-girl camera. These are a few of my favorite images from our ultra-mini session. 🙂
